Description
The Medicine Buddha is an emanation of the Buddha Tonpa Shenrap. He is seated, holding the chakshing (double yungdrung/swastika) in his right hand and holding a vase of medicinal nectar in his left.
It was cast in bronze, with a gold plate on the body and delicate gold dust paint on the face.
This statue was handcrafted in Nepal.
